Nice mods.

I put a simple off-on momentary foot switch on my table top drill press. It's nice for drilling multiple holes or when you want to stop for a few seconds to clear the chips.

I know a fella that put a reversible VFD driven 3ph motors on one of his for thread tapping, etc.

I replaced the main tube with a longer one. I couldn't use my cross slide vise with the stock tube, it was too short. I also welded the table so it was level. I like the motorized mods and blower.

Where did you do the weld to make it level? Was this to level out the y?

Most tables have a single bolt underneath that you can loosen to tilt the table. I got it level and welded it in place.
