Oh yeah it had one issue. A broken table crank. A 5 minute phone call and $18 solved that problem. Sears has some great customer service.

Ok so ended up walking into a local pawn shop and finding a used craftsman 17 inch 1.5hp, 16 speed press for $225. Ended up paying $175 when all was said and done. It may not be the end all be all of drill presses but it will do the job and was so cheap I couldnt resist. Now I have some extra cashanyone know a good keyless chuck?
I'll check it with a dial indicator tomorrow. I need to buy one. But I did drill a bunch of holes in the shop and it seemed okay. Hopefully it is.
Albrecht makes one of the nicest keyless chucks. Should be able to find one for a couple hundred.
I looked up the albrecht chucks. They do look nice. I need to figure out exactly how to tell which one fits. Since this is a used model I only know it's a 5/8 chuck. But I also need to know the taper right?

I can remove the chuck like that then actually remove the post from the chuck. I was able to download the manual but it doesn't say anything other then 5/8 and a part number.
