I have a thin titanium prybar. About 0.125" thick. I just want a couple of 0.25" holes drilled. I don't have the equipment nor the experience to pull this off myself.
Can anyone do this for me for a fair price?

Thanks!

what is the problem in drilling this metal please?? I would like to know so if I have to do it I wont run into the same problem

No carbide needed.

Simple HSS bits and a drill press will do it.

Carbide may be useful for production, but not needed in this case.

No carbide needed.

I think pure Ti works best with cobalt HSS. 6-4 I've used HSS and carbide with fair results. Hardened 6-4 and 6-6-4 that I've messed with was difficult to drill and I cooked some drills making some one-off parts. I've never had to fool with it in production.

I think most folks here will have better luck with HSS because you can buy several for the cost of one carbide, and I think a lot of folks here might find carbide fairly fragile and finicky.

I like carbide drills in soft abrasive materials like G10. They can not be well used in titanium in a hand fed tool.

I have drilled TI without a problem using a hand drill . I suggest you drill a smaller hole first then the hole size you want .

If you're local to me or you're willing to cover shpping both ways I have a Clausing drill bank that should be up to the task...
