Drilling Tantung?

I have a piece of Tantung "G" I'd like to try and make a folder blade out of, but I suspect drilling the hole for the pivot may be "interesting". I thought I'd ask advice first from any of you who have worked with Tantung, Stellite, or similar materials

Have you tried carbide drills? Frank

Had a couple pieces of Tangtung G I made a couple small neck knives with, Carbide bit got one hole thru the other hole snapped the blade in half, stuff seem's very brittle

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give carbide a try. I was a little worried the responses would be "can't be done"
