Any tips or thing I should know about drilling Titanium?? I want to convert my TI/ M4 military to tip up carry. I have the proper drill bit and tap. Will a standard bit cut it or do I need a carbide or something?? Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe Cobalt bits are the best for drilling Ti. Go slow and use light-ish pressure; let the bit do the work.

Take multiple bites and use cutting fluid. Your biggest problem will most likely be binding. Make sure everything is square.

Like platypus said, got to use a good cutting fluid, especially when tapping small holes.
