Are you sure that isn't G10? The texture in that picture looks too rough to be paper. It may be the lighting, though.

I'm sure it is Black Paper. Besides have you ever heard of a Black G-10 Meaner?

BTW the reason I'm sure is that it was kind of a dusty black and when I applied a little mineral oil it sucked it up and turned to a deep black. I have never seen G-10 do that, have you?

Meaner Streets didn't come with G-10 back then....nothing came with G-10 back then....ahhhh the good ole days. You can tell it's a Meaner due to the flat grind, Leaners had the saber grind you see on the current 3/16" Meaners and the only other flat grinds (non-custom shop) have been the SEs.
