Up for sale today are a few of my knives. I hate to part with any of them, but I need to thin the herd a little.
Cripple Creek Barlow- $30 SOLD
This barlow has excellent snap and a stronger pull, which I would put at 7.5. The blade is embossed with ‘Cripple Creek Master Cutlery ‘. The tang is stamped ‘CRIPPLE CREEK , EFFINGHAM IL, U.S.A.’ The single spear point blade has a well-done matchstrike pull. It sits to the side as I’ve shown but does not rub. It has nice sawcut handles, and measures 3.5” closed. It is nice and slim, very pocket friendly.
Camillus 51 Barlow- $20 Sold
From what I can tell, this knife was manufactured between 1960 and 1976. The tang is stamped ‘CAMILLUS, NEW YORK, USA’ on one side and ‘51’ on the other. The main blade has a well done long pull. I believe the sawcut handles are Delrin. Nickel silver bolsters, and brass liners. It has very nice snap and a pull of about 5 to 6. The knife is 3 3/8” long and has a lot of good years left.
Bower 65 Barlow - $20 SOLD
The bolsters on this knife are stamped ‘Bower Barlow Germany’. The tang is stamped ‘F.A. BOWER IMP CO, GERMANY’ on one side and ‘SOLINGEN, 65’ on the other. The smooth bone handles are crack free. I did a little work to the long pull to make it easier to open, not my best work ever. The main blade sits to the side but doesn’t rub. It is 3 3/8” long. A very nice knife with a medium pull and good snap to the blades.
Case ‘Greenbone’ 62024 1/2 -
This is one of my favorite Case patterns going back to the early years of the company. This USA made swell end jack was made between 1920 and 1940. The tang is stamped ‘Case, TESTED XX’. The handles are a pretty green bone with no cracks. I’ve tried to capture the color in my photos. The clip and pen blades have very good snap at the half stop, open, and closed. The blades are tight. Bolsters are nickel silver, liners are brass. A nice piece of history.
Schrade Walden 708 -
This is a great little knife. The tang is stamped ‘SCHRADE, WALDEN, N.Y. U.S.A.’ on one side and ‘708’ on the other. I believe it was manufactured between 1946 and 1973. It has very nice jigged handles. The long pull on the main blade is well done. Nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. It is only about 2 3/4” long. Excellent snap to the blades, it is very clean.
I will ship USPS First class, included in the price, which includes tracking. PayPal only, I will eat any fees. CONUS only. No trades. First 'I'll Take It' posted in this thread gets the knives, please be sure to specify.
Thanks for looking!
