Finally, i've finished a larger nessie! I started this one last fall, but never had the feel for what I wanted to do with it. It's a bit big for what I think of as a real nessie, but still workable (so says a whole chicken bbq) and works great as an all around camp knife, too. the dropped edge is perfect for up close edge work.

8.25" OAL 4.5" blade of 15n20, convex ground 3/32 spine. Differential temper.
Big fat thick manzanita handle you can hold on to all day. (my hands are a bit thick)

field finish- it's my regular mountain man style and made to be banged around.

Sheath included- right or left hand, pouch or retaining strap (which I'd recommend with this one)

it came out pretty well. peening the rivets on the handle curves was a bitch, though.

I'm really liking manzanita. Tell me when your son needs a new one, mike ;)
