Did any other knife from Drop Forged line-up get discontinued?

I have dark gray finish Hunter model and it's awesome.

Yes. All of the original silver colored models. They were replaced by the dark grey versions of the same knives. But it appears that the dark grey Bowie never made it to market!

I see. So only Bowie is discontinued for real.

Probably because it's overshadowed by Survivalist, while people who wanted a smaller blade went with Hunter.

It is not coming back, nor with a dark finish.

Have you considered a larger bladed version, say 10" or so with the same handle shape?
