I own a BM 845 Ascent, and it is a great knife. It is sharp and the lock is very strong, as a matter of fact so is the lock on the BM 840.
It came from the factory razor sharp and I use it for tasks around the office and warehouse, it is also my daily carry and tactical carry. I have the upmost confidence in this knife ..the lock feels stronger than my CS Voyagers, both the 4 or 5 inch models.
