Steel- O1 Tool Steel X 3/16
Heat Treat- Ground, normalized for two cycles, brought back up to temp for a 7 minute soak and quenched in Brownels quench oil. Then blade was tempered for three 2 hour cycles.
Full tang Drop Point design
AOL- just shy of 9 3/4 inches
Blade- 4 1/8 inch sharpened edge with 5/8 inch ricasso
Handle- just under 5 inches
Scales- Military Green Canvas Micarta secured with two 5/16 stainless Corby bolts, and stainless lanyard tube.
RH hand made sheath by maker, was hand sewn, and fitted for this knife. Made from heavy vegetable tanned leather it was wet formed, dyed, oiled and finished out with Fiebing's Leather Sheen. It holds the knife securely for a worry free carry.

mikedlong, thanks for the kind words. I don't have a hardness tester, I do have a friend that works in a machine shop that does. Time to time I have had him test blades for me. The O1 blades he has tested for me were in the 57-60 range on the hardness scale. I use a thermocoupler to measure temps, and have not changed my heat treat method for O1 so I would assume this one is in that range as well.
