drop point/figured walnut

forged 5160 drop point,

hand forged from 5/8'' round stock, it measures about 8 1/8'', the blade is 3 3/8'' tip to choil, hair over 1'' wide at choil, and is flat ground, edge hardened and tempered.

the handle is figured walnut,( from coal creek forge)(thanks steve

)finished with a walnut gunstock filler and finish.

pins are hand peened 3/32'' nickle silver.

this knife has a slender yet comfortable feel to it. excelent cutter, edge is to zero ground.

sold right or left hand sheath avail.

That 5160 is some good stuff, it just might be my new favorite.

the knife looks awesome, and at that price your almost giving it away. Someone should be very pleased.

I got this knife in just before Christmas and have been playing with it ever since.

Absolutely amazing craftsmanship. Andrew was incredible to work with, very quick on the shipment.

The blade is just stunning and the walnut was beautifully crafted.

(He made me promise to give absolutely honest feedback, good AND bad), Well, after thinking long and hard about it the absolute only thing I'd change is the sheath. Andrew is a top notch knifemaker, and I know I read somewhere that he's working on his leatherwork.

A+++ absolutely recommend. :thumbup::thumbup:
