Very nice work - I'm partial to Loveless Dropped hunters myself.

I'm partial to the Loveless design too. I just wondered how the bolster affects the balance? Is the knife heavy in hand?
Beautiful wood!

Compared to a small guard or a bolsterless knife of the same design there is more weight. This knife weighs in at 6.4 oz. with the balance point just behind the finger guard where the handle and bolster meet.

Very nice offering!

What edge did you put on this blade (convex, hollow grind, V-edge....)?

Thanks...

The main bevel is hollow ground and the final edge is a v that has been polished with a paper wheel charged with white rouge.
