Thought I would show you guys the Loveless style drop point hunter I just finished. This one is going to a gal and I was asked to scale it down a bit so that it would fit her small hand a little better. It finished at 7-5/8" overall length with a 3-5/16" blade. 3/16" CPM 154CM, Nickel Silver guard and lanyard tubes (which I was asked to use rather than my standard corby style handle screws). This was also the first time I've used Ivory linen micarta but certainly not my last. I love the looks of this stuff much, much better than ivory paper micarta ! It has so much more character than ivory paper. I also backed up the micarta with a red liner.
The only thing I would do different would be to add liner right behind the guard (I usually do
) , but thought I would see how it looked without a liner this time. I like the little splash of color that seems to be missing on this one.
All in all I think it came out looking pretty darn nice.
Thanks for taking a look guys
