Hi there. I am hobby knifemaker since 2006. It is my last knife. Steel is 1.4034 (420) - 4mm thickness. Nardened up to 53 Rockwell. I am training my skils and updating my workshop machinery. I will get some RWL34 soon. :)
 
That a really nice design and shape! Looks like a really good finish also! :thumbup:
 
Thanks, guys. Pins are stainless steel rod for welding. 308L or something. Lanyard tube is stainless too. It is used for hydraulic systems. The finish is crappy too. I was using this:

I only have belts 36, 60, 150, 240, and used belt norax X45, but I will buy more in the future. I see that I polished the grindmarks that I could not clean from the previous grid.
Now I am using a new machine. :cool: And I ordered a new belts.
