Eddie, that knife is frikkin' sweet:thumbup: That redwood burl is amazing!

Thanks man! That's what I thought. I mean, I've seen a lot of everything in my lifetime and worked with most of it, but this was my first time with it and it just was a true butterfly split and looked so nice. Real easy to work with.

I agree, that wood is beautiful.
Nice gesture, to offer a discount to forum members.
Looking at the specs, it seems to be the perfect EDC woods companion too.
I imagine this will be gone by tomorrow.

Thanks racegunner! BF was there for me in the very beginnings. SunnyD took a chance on my work, told BF members how pleased he was, and biz took off. I'm always pleased with my smooth transactions with BF members.

Very nice Eddie. you know i'm a big fan of you and your knives.
this model # IX(serial 154) is my "main man" for outside chores EDC.
Sharp(still after ~ 2 years), nimble, tough, and just the right size, never in the way as crouch down or move around.
a real faithful companion is how i feel about it.
after years of using a Folder, yours was my first FB to EDC. and it's still my favorite for the major gardening/landscaping type of work i do.
i hope whomever gets this one is a Folder guy, willing to try a FB as EDC.
it's a most satisfying experience.

Eddie makes one of the sharpest knives out there.
This is also my favorite EDC that I use.
If this doesn't go soon, I might be buying another knife.
You can't go wrong with this knife.

Proctor! good to hear from you! making it to the olympics where it's not snowing?? lots of snow down south. anyway, thanks for the plug-- that's a great idea, going from folder to FB for EDC.
P4- Thanks! I knew you'd like that little cutter!

Damn Eddie, those scales are amazing. Still using the camp knife you made me on a regular basis...and my bro really enjoys his.

I love my utility hunter I got from you a few months back. This redwood one is awesome!!!

All,
Thanks for the feedback. I try to make extremely functional knives that are nice to look at to boot.

This one is still for sale.
