Several people have asked me to make more lightweight knives, so because I don't take custom work ,here is one for the folks who like to travel light. This is a stock removal knife from 52100 high carbon steel, heat treated to Rc 58-60 in my shop with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade. Flat grind with a 400 grit belt finish. The handle is professionally stabilized spalted maple with brass pins and lanyard hole. A with a palm swell and flattened butt fits my average size hand nicely. Overall length is 8 inches with a 3 3/4 inch blade and weighs 4 ounces. Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
