Good evening! Looks like I got a treat from Masecraft with this ALVS Acrylic handle material. From their catalog: "This is an all new product and is a combination of acrylic and real shell. Handmade sheets...consists of a top layer of acrylic, a center layer of shell and...thick black backing."
It wasn't bad to work with at all. Here's the specs on what I made out of it:

Serial 012, Drop Point
ALVS Acrylic/shell Handles (from Masecraft)
5/32 440-C Stainless Steel, full tang construction
Nickel Silver pins
blade length 2 1/4
overall length 5 3/8
3.1 ounces
Kydex sheath
The handle material is a bit more, but such a nice looker! On my website, I'd charge 150 plus shipping all day long on this one.
