Stock removal from 1/8 inch 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60
Flat grind with a 400 grit belt finish
Stabilized and dyed figured cherry handle
Overall length:7 1/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

Is cherry hard to come by now? Does the color usually come in a lighter brown or is it tend to be darker? I know you said it was dyed so I thought maybe it naturally comes a little lighter than that. I remember my folks having cherry end tables that dark color. Very handy size. The knife….not the end table.;)

Natural cherry is slightly pink but it is usually stained darker in furniture. Using dye in knife handles will bring out and enhance the figures wood.
