This style takes me back to my roots: hunting knives, which I started making over 25 years ago. I have to remind myself to keep making these because they are functional for a lot more uses than hunting.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind
Distal tapered tang and blade
Hand sanded to 400 grit
Curly maple handle
Overall length: 7 7/8 inches
Blade cutting edge: 3 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard

$130 delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal is gldrewknives@yahoo.com Checks with time to clear and USPS money orders also accepted.

One of these days, i'm going to snag one of your hunters, Gerry. I love the design, looks like the perfect working knife. Just waiting for the one that calls my name. Was frustrated I missed out on the last one you did in Curly maple.

I'll take it. This is my first purchase on this forum so I am a little green at this. Please instruct.

Thanks!

Gerry, thank you for your patience. PayPal has been sent. I am sure this blade will look and feel as good if not better in person. Can't wait.

Just received the knife today. It looks and feels awesome. I am torn between whether or not to use it. I love the clean look and design. I think this knife will be one of two that I actually use on a regular basis.

Thanks again Gerry!

Todd, thanks for the report, and I think you definitely should use it!
