Stock removal from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my shop using 5 heat cycles in my Evanheat furnace to Rc 58-60
Flat grind with a belt finish followed by a cork belt and compound
Distal tapered tang
Stabilized figured walnut handle with black Micarta spacers. The curl and spaces don't show well in these photos but show better in person
Overall length: 7 3/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
