Price dropped $50...
Fiddleback Forge Hiking Buddy and R. Lowe sheath $270 > $240>>$220PP
Price includes w/custom R Lowe cross-draw custom leather sheath (new $75)
Here is a Hiking Buddy that I bought from a Fiddleback friend/collector. It is a pure custom from Andy Roy...and NOT a production piece. He said that he has carried it, but it appears as new to me... It push-cuts easily through Yellow Pages sheets.
TERMS: The first DEFINITE "I'll take it" here in the thread with a follow up PM gets the knife. I reserve the right to sell to the person of my choice, in case of “difficulty.”
The 1/8" thick blade is 3.15" long. The grip is 4.12" long, and has a side-to-side dimension of 0.73" max and 0.62" minimum width...3-d conformal.
Josh at REK has thinned the blade, cleaned up the sharp edge, and it is a stunning slicer. Josh reground the bevels, and thinned the blade...
now is (0.016” behind the edge). The spine was left at 1/8”. Very impressive floating thru Yellow Pages....
It includes a custom leather rh crossdraw sheath that Rick Lowe made for the knife. I just examined the sheath and there is one broken thread on the belt loop, which would easily be fixed with one small drop of glue on the thread...to prevent it from unraveling. I will leave that minor repair to the buyer.
I will ship the Hiking Buddy and the Lowe custom sheath in a drawstring bag from Fiddleback Outpost.
PAYMENT: CONUS only. PayPal G&S, payment expected rapidly or I go to next in line. Thanx. NO TRADES, thanx.
