Dropped my knife on the tip

If you do need the tip for EDC use, then no choice, you have to sharpen the area quite much to bring the whole edge meeting the spine again.
There's a thread by KennyB asking similar question, but his is not due to dropping, the tip becomes less acute due to regular use & sharpening. You might need to regrind the edge, and then resharpen
tough work.
However, if needle tip is not needed, it can be left alone until regular sharpening forms it again, but it'll be a long time. My regular work knife is also like that, I leave it as it is, no time to reprofile yet.
