I'm hopeful that Munk will return from dicing with the Devil, and tell us that Butcher Bob has moved on down the road to greener pastures.........

And Jurrasic; I just had a long talk with my friend and lawyer about all of this. Even though I'm very good at certain things, I have to ask myself if I have the right or need to risk myself and therefore the lives of my children?

Things I could do single may not be appropriate as a father. It may be I should use my skill when I absolutely have to, and not risk the lives of my family or their well being indirectly.

I have to give that a lot of weight. We all know any contact with a psychotic meth freak can stick to you- and you can get the burn.

If my neighbors are in immediate danger I will arrive armed.
And, I still think someone should have had the courage to talk to this man.
Deputy Sheriffs wouldn't even do it.

I hate waiting around for the other shoe to drop, know what I mean?

If the Sheriff orders a Deputy to "check it out", then the Deputy is on "official business" and thus has a reason for being there. If the merde hits the fan, the Deputy can do what ever is necessary, and will be backed by a Grand Jury......same can't be said for a neighbor with the best intentions in the world. You are right about the boys............they do come first.
