Dual nested liners in Millie?

The second liner is visible without disassembly.

There are many places to order. I've had great service from New Graham and Knives Plus.

Thanks, yablanowitz! Your help is always appreciated!

BTW, the place I was browsing at had the older Military models in 440V. Wasn't it you that was interested in that model from another thread?

I wouldn't mind picking up a back-up PE if the price was right. I'd really like to find an old 2 screw clip piece in decent shape.

I might be also interested, if you could drop me a PM I would really appreciate it

Is the liner on the opposite side of the lock visible without disassembling the knife? I looked at a military today with a S23V blade that did not seem to have the opposing liner.
Yes, if you know where to look and what you're looking for. Fairly easy to spot the liner itself on this camo Military, which is why I used it for the illustration. On the black handled ones I find the liner's large oval lightening hole is the easiest thing to spot.

Also, if the liner is visible, and the knife I looked at does not have one- where is the best place online to order this model from?

I would be looking for a new model Military, with next day shipping available if possible.
The last single liner Miltary was produced over four years ago. Pretty much any Spyderco dealer who handles the Military would only have the ones with dual liners and there are lots of good dealers out there who stock the Military and ship promptly.

Got my Military today!

Initial impressions are extremely favorable. It felt a bit odd in the hand at first, because the only two other Spydercos I own are a Chinook 1 and an original Manix. Compared to those two knives, the Military almost felt TOO light.

The blade is wickedly sharp, sharper out of the box than the above mentioned knives. The grip is very comfortable, and fills the hand well in a variety of positions.

Fit and finish are excellent, on par with the other Spydercos I have owned and handled.

The light weight does not seem to detract from the strength of the knife, and it does seem to disappear one you put it in pocket. However, I do kind of enjoy the 'beefy' feeling of the Manix and Chinook. If one was made available with a lock back like those knives I would pick it up as well.

Over all, seems that this blade lives up to all the hype surrounding it.
