Dual survival cancelled.

Its too bad, Dual Survivor was one of the few shows by Discovery that wasn't produced to be all mixed up and confusing to watch that I didn't have to work the PVR through to piece the show together other than to pass commercials. Joe Teti was nothing more than a blood lusting crackjob a disgrace by any description.
 
Is there any independent confirmation that the show was cancelled aside from the TMZ report? Just wondering because I couldn't find anything.

I don't own a television so that part matters not to me.

But my take a way from the article was. Someone from Hollywood saying all these survivor types have a screw loose.

I didn't know that but I can kind of see it. I would think their would be some competition. Both seam good at what they do and spend a fair amount of time alone or where they are the " expert".
People skill might not be their strong suit.

According to Cody Lundin, it's because in Graham's early days of trying to get on a TV show, he told producers, that he was who taught Lundin, and that didn't go over well. :)
 
Typical Teti: We just got lost and have no water, but let's kill an animal for ten pounds of meat (to improve the ratings, or to look Real Alpha Survivor TM).

How is this dog any different from Teti? Sorry, that's being too harsh on the dog. His only redeeming quality was his navigation skill, other than that he's a closet-beta douchebag.
 
I hope that cat doesn't get a mouse in its jaws, or it will be curtains for him also. Lol
 
Dailý reminder that "survival" is a bussiness and that both Teti and Canterbury are proven hacks.

Hawke also seems to be, although his Green Beret past is true.

Even though this man also makes copious profits, I recommend Ray Mears for survival / adventure related stuff. Many of his programs are on Youtube for everyone to watch.

Even though Canterbury did lie about his background, I do think he was more than qualified to be on the show. I think he was a legit survival expect. He credibly does this for a living.

I never got that feeling with Teti. If anything, I think doing the things Joe did would often be detrimental to most people in survival situations.
 
Even though it's gone downhill a LOT since the first season (especially with Joe) I am actually going to really miss this show.

It's what got me interested in survival. And as much as people credibly criticize discovery for how they handle their survival shows (and a billion other things), I don't think I'm alone in that regard. I think they did suceed in getting a lot of people who spent far too much time sitting on their coaches watching TV interested in this sort of stuff.

Yeah, the TMZ article which first mentioned the show was cancelled noted that they already taped shows before the incident so I'm sure they'll at least air what they already have.

And yeah... I like both the concept of the show and Matt Graham. He was great on the show. I hope Discovery or some other network finds another show for him to be on.
 
I hear this season bear grills is teaming up with Richard Simmons. Should be a blast.
