I know some of you guys got dual thumb studs put on the AR/GB.

Can anything like this be done with the buck strider?

:(

I called the shop and the guy told me to contact buck. And then I contacted buck and they told me they don't make them.

Ah, that's too bad. I guess you'll just have to flick it open with your left hand. When I do that, the liner engages a little bit too far over to the right, then I have to unlock it with both hands.

yea, i noticed that happening too. drag.

no, I don't generally open my knives with my left hand. only every so often, in weird positions.

but I like thumb studs on the other side, because I frequently open a knife (with studs or a hole) with my middle finger.

Would it be alright if I asked for one too? It'd let me use mine as a left-side heavy backup to my less monstrous right-side EDC.

Just talked to Len at Strider.

That works out great.

Thanks a lot, Mr. Strider, and the rest of the Strider guys.

I'm surprised, Len actually even recognized my address, sort of.
