Duane, I've tried to reach your store for about a week now with no success. Are you not in California, or should I take a hint?

Matterhorn,
If you left a message on their machine, Duane will personally answer you call when he can. He is getting spun up for the NY custom knife show. And, there are about a million servicemen in need of knives right now.

Well I do not have any messages from anyone named Matterhorn.
I do answer my messages and I am going to N.Y. Custom show. Leave me another and I'll answer it when I get back or simply ask Steve your question.

I understand and certainly appreciate how hard at work you must be. I wasn't trying to make myself sound like I had a "special" need... just wanted to finally connect. I had emailed you before, but haven't left a message (which I just did by the way).

Thanks again,

Matterhorn

You never left a message?!?!?! Then you post something like this!?! What gives? Do you think the they are mind readers? If you don't leave a message, how are they going to call you back? No soup for you!

Knifebomber, relax a bit, will ya ;) I left an email message, and I also called about every other hour for 7 straight days! What does "post something like this" mean, anyway? It was just a friendly inquiry. Relax.

You guys are too much. Real funny, you know that?

It would be even funnier if your references actually made sense.:p

My reference was to the fact that your question implied that Strider wasn't up to speed on their answering of messages. They do most, if not all, their business on responding to phone messages. You didn't leave a message, so that is why there was no response. Steve is busy answering logistical questions with their business via email. Duane does the phone stuff and handles the orders by phone. That is why you didn't get the email response and no phone response either. Make sense? What email address did you send your request to? If it wasn't Steve, then you surely won't receive a satisfactory response, as Mick and Duane answer their email on their personal computers and don't have the setup to do orders at home. Cut them some slack. But, don't take it as a slight, and continue your business with them.

Cut who some slack? There must be some miscommunication here.. as I never intended to imply anything of the sort.

I rather not post on here what email I used or didn't, since that can get a little private. I think this whole issue should only be continued off line anyway...
