Dude finally got a 4

I'm one of the outliers, I don't particularly care for the Ka-Bar 4. I've used one of Ethan's Cinci 4s and it was AMAZEBALLS! It had a very nice weight and balance, but the ka-bar was a tad bit of a let down. Mind you I still have one in my collection that I won't be getting rid of. There have been 2 others in my collection that HAVE been gotten rid of. Although that was the intention of them all along. They came with my Bowie sets.

If/when the 4 comes back, I wouldn't mind if it were closer in form to the old Cincinnati 4. A little thicker stock and that bigger belly with more forward weight.... I'd take that deal.

I set my worksharp KO at 20 degrees and let it rip. Finish with a ceramic rod done deal. My 4 cuts everything from vines to large hardwood branches and stays hair popping sharp. Out of all my kids I love the Bk4 the most.

Very much agreed. In a two knife setup, I feel like I could do pretty much any task with just a BK4 and a BK16.
