It's a quantum leap up from a Chinese Bell+Howell!!! ;) On your (and others) recommendation, I bought one off eBay. It's scuffed, scratched, and the battery bay doorlock has a piece broken off, but for $41 it's an outstanding digital camera!!! :D :thumbup:

The seller had a couple dozen of these, all used...I'm guessing insurance reps taking pics of accidents/claims...

I've been using the macro setting and taking close-ups of...stuff...it works great! Good strong thyristor flash; auto-focus, even on macro; and there is an optional charging dock for the optional battery pack.

Now, to buy some knives to shoot... :rolleyes:
