Dull Commander

About two weeks after receiving my new beautiful commander, my wife thought she would actually put one of my knives to use.
She does not care for them much, but she was going to plant some flowers and needed to cut some roots and dig around rocks!!!
So she grabbed my commander, and was so pleased with herself. Flowers were planted, she actually used one of those knives, she was happy.
The poor commander is all scratched up, dull as a butter knife, but I had to smile and compliment her on her choice!!
That is if I want to get any future knives.

Now the problem is sharpening the offset edge. ]
The edge pro apex has worked well for me on all of my knives, but this one.
Any help would be appreciated.

What? Another knife? Don't you have enough of those things already?
How many does one person need?
And just what are you going to do with this one that you can't do with the others?
What is the purpose of all these knives anyhow??

I do not know about sharpening a Commander as I have not had to do that yet.

On the subject matter in your signature I totally understand as my wife has a similar outlook. My only comments to add on this are:

1. Arn't those sharp knives dangerous.
2. Why do you want things that can kill people.
3. You spent how much, we could have bought a ??? for the house with that.

use the spyderco model 204 sharperner. use the points of the stones, first grey then white to finish it off.

if you dont have a spyde 204, GET ONE!
