Gentlemen:
For your consideration is this field grade knife in CPM 4V/Bastogne Walnut. I wear Duluth Fire Hose Canvas Pants and I like to carry my knife in the hammer loop (see photo) - I find it very convenient and comfortable. The clip is made of .093" kydex - the sheath is 2 3/8" wide and lined with deerskin. The solder joint is perfectly executed with no pin holes. The Bastogne Walnut has been stabilized by K&G - lots of fiddleback figure in this piece. The hidden tang extends 2/3 of the way into the handle and is set with G/flex marine grade epoxy and a 1/16" stainless pin. A large radius platen has been used to hollow grind the primaries to .015" - 20 degree bevels applied. The blade has been hand rubbed to a satin finish - this is not an easy task on CPM 4V - for its size, this is a very light knife. I use this style knife not just for skinning, but as a utility knife - its profile is great for slicing bagels, spreading peanut butter on your sandwich, cutting your steak, etc.
I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $325 delivered CONUS. PayPal preferred to tsteingass@yahoo.com. Thanks for viewing and your comments are appreciated.
