Hope this hasn't been done to death but just saw it now, the Ka-Bar pistol bayonet, this has to be as silly as it gets. Makes the knife with the CO2 cartridge look like a good idea. Why? And from a great manufacturer no less.

Just something else for the sheeple to ban.
After they whine about it for a bit to draw attention to draw attention to their "cause".
 
I'm guessing it won't be long before it's in the movies "saving the day". I'm sure some hero, or bad guy, will empty their mag and "finish off" their opponent. Following shortly thereafter will be flocks of mall ninjas and zombie killers purchasing this must have item for their BOB or daily "duties".
Alternatively, it would make a neat collectors piece. And if ya reach a little I guess one could seriously justify it as a useful apperatus for certain "occasions".
Seriously though, it was only a matter of time. It really shouldn't surprise anyone that this has hit the market.
I'm personally waiting for the first real world sighting of it in use by a Police or Military member. The times, they are a changin' - and getting more predictable, too!

The BladeGun is a semi-automatic heavy pistol with a large crescent shaped knife-blade attached in front of the trigger guard and grip. Also called the Samurai handgun, it incorporates styling found on the grips of katanas and Japanese kanji down the side of the slide and blade.


This pistol can accept only top and barrel mounts, the underbarrel mount taken up by the blade. The underbarrel weight of the blade gives the gun 1 point of recoil compensation.

I've always thought it'd be pretty cool to Mushroom stamp a crim in the forehead with the barrel of my gun...now I can split their wig as well
 
Betcha they sell about three of 'em. Get yours now - soon to be a collector's item.

BTW, the "quote thing" here uses brackets ( ] [ ), not the other symbols ( > < ) you're used to using in HTML.
