Dumpster Mutt LE at Scrap Yard Store

I was just thinking of the scrapper six which was 89 for the cg and 139 for the le vs the dumpster mutt which was 69 for the cg and 129 for the le. smaller knife yet larger price difference. I don't have any problem with charging what the market will bear.....hell I ordered one. I was just thinking out loud. I didn't mean to offend anybody......I have wanted one of these for a long time, but didn't want to pay 129 for a knife that originally sold for 69......heck, I bet that these le's are selling for 200 this time next year on the secondary market (of course by them mine will be pretty beat up so if I were to sell it I could probably only get back what I paid lol)

Hey cool, I got one! My first order from one of the Family stores. I guess there are some advantages to working the night shift.

I hope Dan's cart problems aren't continuing. I just added 500 and it let me. :O Else, I hope he does have hundreds and/or thousands of these for peeps.

wahooooo I got one, might have to get another. Though the SS's are coming and I need to have the cashola for that too.

I got a million of 'em.

Yeah, this'll be my first Scrap Yard. Am I gonna love it? Me likey satin, logo'd blades, resiprene C!!! Too cool... I think I have a new thrower.

Just ordered one, so I guess they're still in stock. Looks like one beefy little knife.

Just got mine today and there's a annoying space between the resiprene handle and the spine of the blade...(inspected by 47). Beside that it's a great little knife that feel very confortable. I can't wait to use it...cheers!!!

Treg - contact the folks at Scrapyard. They can fix that, IIRC. It happens sometimes with those Res-C handles.

I think I'm gonna cold-blue mine just to take the shine off of it. I hate worrying about it being carbon-steel. Would prefer it to be mucked up BEFORE I go and use it. ;)

I know they can fix it but it's gonna be another 2 weeks in the mail to them, then the time to fix it and another 2 weeks in the mail back to me for something that I won't even notice in a couple of days since it's gonna be a hard user, it's gonna get scratch pretty soon...:) I'm just wondering why they bother stamping it (inspected by 47) I'm sure 46 would'nt have let this pass by...:)

Maybe they don't consider it a defect? Dunno. I got my two and there is no space I can see. I'm real pleased with these knives in terms of fit and finish. I really like the handle size, and Res-C just feels so good in-hand...
