Durable, Fixed Blade For Camping?

At work the other day, I had both my Camp Tramp and my KaBar USMC. Both have 7" blades, but side by side, the CT made the KaBar just look downright puny. The KaBar brand was the only one I have left. I've broken both a Camillus and Ontario version of the same knife doing nothing more strenuous than slicing cardboard. The SRKW just laughs at the same duty.

Ill tell you what man If your looking for a nice fixed blade knife thats not going to break the bank. Check out The Ontario RAT line of knives. They are awesome and some of the best knives out there.
 
Wetdog1911 how did tou break your ontario knife. And what kind was it. I have two Ontario RAT knives and they are great and durable enough to take anything that I threw at them
