I hope this is the right forum for this question, as it is toolshed related; if not, my apologies, I'm sure Cougar will set me in the right place.
Anyway, I'm setting up a woodcarving bench in my house for working on knife handles, walking sticks, other small artifacts. I will be using a flexible shaft power carver and my concern is how to remove the dust before it migrates all over the house.
One thought I have is to place a shop vac in the basement, where it can't be heard, and run an extension hose and power cord up to the work table to collect the dust as it comes off the carver.
I imagine some of you guys have dealt with a similar problem in your shops, and may have built something from scratch.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
