I read online that double edged knives are classified as proper
weapons and fall under gun laws in italy.

I don't feel comfortable sending this through customs....
I think they would xray and confiscate....don't you?

Only if the blade is "all" double edge. Until 2/3 of the blade is Ok....... ;)
