I got the documentary DVD and if have Nero Express 6 on my computer.:jerkit::jerkit: I know I am a dumb Portagee, but this is beat the hell out of me trying to burn a copy. Do any of you Bubbas have any simply instruction that I could follow???:confused:

start off with nero start smart. choose the dvd option at the top right. you will then see the option to copy a dvd.

You can also just use your Windows Media Player. All you have to do is put your DVD in and click copy dvd and then follow the instructions that it gives you. Hey if I can do it then anyone can. Good luck.

I can help you out if you need it. i use nero on my computer to copy i mean back up dvds. if you want i can give you a call. just let me know

I am going to sound like a smartazz but do you have a DVD ROM or a DVD ReWritable. Gotta start there

I don't know what "documentary DVD" you are referring to, but if the disc is encrypted for copyright protection, then it's not quite as simple as making a duplicate. Certainly, there are programs that can do it, but I don't believe Media Player or Nero will work by themselves. If the disc is not protected, Nero should be able to handle it.

If it has no copy protection you dont need to make an iso, just open the dvd in "My computer" (right click and open, dont play it). You should see 2 folders, one named audio ts and one named video ts, just drag and drop these to a place on your hard drive(you actually only need the video ts folder). Now any time you want to burn a copy just use any burning software like, Imgburn, Nero, ConvertxtoDVD to burn a video DVD. Nero is fine but Imgburn would be better, just select "write files/folders to disc" then select your video ts folder and build and burn. Also make sure to use good quality recordable DVD's and burn no higher than 4x no matter what your burner or the media says it can handle.

You do have a DVD burner instead of just a CD burner, correct?? Sorry if this was a bad question.:)

sounds good i will try and give you a call tonight, bubba-doll is coming over so we will see ;)

When you open Nero Express you should see choices on the left like Data, Music, Video/Pictures. Choose the Video/Pictures icon and youll see 3 new choices in the main window. Select the one that says DVD-Video Files, now you should see an open window with a size meter at the bottom, and should have an "add" button on the right side. Click the add button and a window opens for you to find the files to add. Now just go to the Video TS folder you saved, open it, and youll see a number of files, named video-ts.bup , video-ts.ifo, video-ts.vob and some beginning with vts-01. Click on the top file then hold the Shift key on your keyboard and hold the down arrow to select them all, then click "add". Now you only need to click next until you get to burn.

I have Nero 8 so this might be a little different than nero 6 but should be close.

Guys, I am still having problem in burning the DVD. Toeburner (Nathan) has the DVD now and he will be attempting it.:(;):D
