Timbs/Filicietti Damascus Fighter

This custom knife was made by Austrialian Blade Smith Doug Timbs, with a very large Damascus blade made by fellow Aussi Steve Filicietti, and is stamped Dark Water Knives. The blade is not stamped Filicietti. I simply trust Doug's word, and the quality is apparent.

The overall length of 17.75" says Bowie, but its light weight and quick handling clearly make it a very large fighter. The blade is 11.75" of twist pattern Damascus, the handle is 6.0" of bright exhibition grade Ring Gidgee, the S guard and pins are 416 stainless steel. The overall fit and finish super and ultra clean. A brown leather sheath is included.

I have a Timbs Bowie and the fit and finish are superb on that knife as well.

This is a gorgeous fighter.

The blade blank for this knife was forged by Steve Filicietti, everything else was carried out by me.(exept heat treat)
The pics don't show the handle material that well, but it really is a nice peice of wood. If anyone has any questions that Peter can't answer, please give me a yell.
By the way, all of my knives are marked 'Dark Water Knives', Douglas is an old Gaelic name and it means dark water.
