It is with a heavy, like lead, heart I offer this one up for sale, it is sweet beyond belief, but, we just got hit with some major hospital bills, like $9,000 worth, and, some things have to go, as some of you know, I had just been offered $1300 for my NM SMF, turned it down, but I do need to sell something, so, for your viewing and (buying) pleasure, is a one of a kind, chisel ground tanto Dwyer SMF.

The black G-10 handle is flawlessly grooved, the action and lockup on this particular SMF are truly a perfectionist like myself's wet dream, as smooth as SMF's get, with the absolute best lockup possible, and, I'm picky. :) Zero play.

WICKED MULTIPLE GRINDS, with a zero ground, razor sharp edge and heavily reinforced tip.

Though in the pic, to the untrained eye, it might look like the blade isn't centered, it actually is perfectly centered, the reason it appears odd is the chisel grind, if you have other folders with a CG, you'll know. Dead center. In the pic, you'll notice how the spine of the blade remains very thick all the way to the tip, making this blade far more tough and massive than a normal SMF or even NM blade. You can feel the thickness and extra mass as you cycle the knife, and yet, the action is ultra smooth and precise.

The ball detent, like the smooth action and perfect lockup, is also, a perfectionist's wet dream, very strong and crisp, when it "thunks" home, man, what a feeling... :)

The handle screws are that sort of faded blackish finish, very tactical.

Dwyers have a very cultish following, possibly even moreso that Mick's customs, I would characterize Duane's knives as being less flashy than Micks, but more utilitarian. What could be more utilitarian, and balls to the wall heavy duty than a thick-ass, yet razor sharp, chisel, zero ground tanto SMF? :)

Anyway, I'm pricing it at normal market price, and the first to email me and say those magic words: "I'll take it" gets it for $975 including insured, 2-day shipping. It will cost me $15 to ship, so, you're actually paying $960 for the knife itself, which is pretty reasonable.

AND, it comes with the WAY COOL tan Dwyer custom zipper presentation case. To sound like a bad commercial, a $40 value... :)

So, here it is, you know you want it, it's yours if you're quick on the draw.

I'm sorry, but I must insist on a US Postal money odrder on this one.

Ari
