I calibrated this unit according to the instructions and an online video I found; however, when I performed the 180 test, it didn’t seem to work…?

I shot a video of what I was seeing:

Am I doing this right? Or am I not understanding something?

Now I have to try that same test with my angle reader.

My Homder is a few hundredths off on the 180 test. The 1 degree difference on yours is severe. Try new batteries and test again. Someone told me these affordable electronic gauges can be off if the batteries are not at the right voltage. i.e old batteries = inaccurate results. I don't know if it applies to the model you have, however.

It's got an internal lithium battery that I charge via USB. And it had a full charge. :(
