couple of questions on this nice little knife.

Can anyone tell me what is the thickness of closed knife, It seems that it would ride well buried in the pocket.

Is the clip removable? (see above)

Does the closed blade with the hump detract from your grip?

What is the difference between the Dyad Junior and mini-Dyad? Is there different product numbers so I can make sure I get the one I want?

What is up with semi-boneless ham, does it have a bone? er ah, just the answers to the knife questions would be greatly appreciated.

With apologies to George Carlin

The Mini Dyad will fit in you pocket very easily. I don't know its thickness but it only weighs 1.6oz. The overall length is less than 6", and the clip is removeable. It is the most versatile small knife made by Spyderco.

Dyad Jr (new name)& Mini Dyad (old name) are the same knive.

the hump is somewhat in the way, but tolerable.

the new Dyad Jr lite weight should be out in less than a month. Larger opening hole (for easier OHO). Lighter, thinner and less expensive.

Don't know about the ham?

Great -
Will the new dyad junior lightweight have micarta or zytel handles?

Blade will still be ATS-55?

Glad to hear it will be lighter and thinner, I'm looking forward to getting my first Spydie, I understand it is a slippery path though - a taste of Dyad Jr, maybe try a Calypso Junior, oh the Native looks good..... Wegner anyone?

Don't know about the steel, but "Lightweight" implies that it is the fiberglass reinforced nylon handle (aka, zytel™).

OD is correct, we're using FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) for the New model. Steel is ATS-55.
