This sale is for all 5 of these blocks. I sent these blocks of Curly Myrtle to K&G to be dyed and stabilized. The dye didn't take like I was hoping it would. Some of the blocks have worm tracks which dyed and stabilized. I recently made a knife with an undyed version of this stuff and it turned out great. I'm selling these blocks cheaply because they soaked up very little dye. They have great curly figure. Two blocks were dyed red and three blue. I'm offering all 5 blocks for $40 shipped in the US. These were stabilized by K&G. Questions and comments are welcome. I accept paypal, check or credit card.

Hey J, I'm curious, are all of the stabilized wood pieces that are on your website ALL stabilized by K&G? I asked this in your curly oak thread from a couple weeks back but I don't think you noticed it.

I only ask because as I was browsing your site, some stabilized blocks were specifically listed as "stabilized by K&G" in their descriptions, but for the most part none of the other stabilized blocks were. Does that mean that you do all the other pieces yourself at home or have a different place stabilize them for you, or is it just that you don't always mention that they are "stabilized by K&G" in all of your stabilized wood descriptions? Hope this makes sense lol :D

Thanks!

Yes, your question makes sense, and I'm sorry I didn't see it in the other thread. I have never done my own stabilizing. Early on I had some blocks stabilized by Wood Lab from Michigan, I then switched to WSSI and now have everything done by K&G. I believe just about everything that was done by Wood Lab has been sold. I still have several blocks in stock that were done by WSSI. I never had an issue with the quality of work from any of the three companies. I mention the stabilizer by name just so people know it was professionally done. I hope that answers your questions.
