Here's a Dyed Elk Stag hunter.
I just used some leather dye on sun bleached Elk Stag and this is what I got!
The knife is made of 1/8" D-2 and is 6.25" long with a 2.5" blade.
The spine has a vine and double thorn pattern from tip to butt.
It has stainless bolsters and 1/4" mosaic pins.

It might be small but it's a user!

You'll have to forgive the bad pics.

Thanks for looking,

Brent Cramer

That's sweeter than the peaches that come in a can! I like small, handy knives and I definitely like that stag. The rounded butt looks nice without a rear bolster.

Thanks for the encouragement!
As for the colors Mark, I started with some cordovan in spots and black in the deep groves then put a splash of dark brown and light brown in places. Then sanded it all down and the white came through nicely. This is a new pattern for me and I think it’s a keeper!
