I have a question about Dymalux. A follower on my knife page sent me a free sample of Dymalux that he makes. My first impressions are that it looks brittle and I’m worried it may crack or chip on me. If anyone has worked with this stuff please chime in on your experiences with what works and how to finish it. Would a buffer burn the resin/epoxy whatever it’s made from?

Thanks in advanced!

It just another product like diamonwood, pakkawood and the like.
Basically colored and stabilized plywood.
Yes a buffer will burn it but a buffer will burn any handle material if used too aggressively. It is stable but has a bad rap from being used on toi many cheap import knives.

Aaah cheap import knives.. hence why my first impressions of it I though it looked cheap. Thanks for your input!
