Dymondwood?

OK, here's the lowdown on Dymondwood or Pakkawood.

You put the stuff on a knife and you can sell it for $125.
You put a $20 piece of stabilized wood on the same blade and you can get $250 for it.

What was said is true. The handle does sell the blade for the most part.

Bruce Bump alluded to this with his example of using ivory. The same amount of work is involved, why not get "more per hour" just by using better materials?
