Hi BarnZ,
I just purchased a DZ-5312-MW direct from your site. I was wondering if you could tell me what steel is used in the blade of this particular knife?
I noticed that you use 440-A in many of your knives. Would this also be the same for this one as well?

Your knife uses a high grade German Stainless steel with a hardness of 57-58 Rc. The nomenclature is on the blade "W.1.4116"

We use the following steels in our line:

440A (USA)
440C (USA)
AUS-8A (Japan)
W1.4116 (Germany)
12C27 (Sweden)
Z60CDV14 (Sweden)
T9MOV (France)
Devin Thomas and Mike Norris damascus as well.
