E&E pack: Recommended knives

Been wondering exactly what E&E stood for and now I know! I got a Carson/Vanguard E&E folder and figured it must be something like escape/evasion since the knife so closely followed the original Al Mar SERE. Thanks for the info!

I like a Swiss Army Champion, and a medium hand axe or roofing hatchet.

For me I always carry the Leatherman Juice XE6 on my belt, together with a Streamlight Twintask.

As for my Everyday Carry Bag, the SOG Seal Pup.

I still think the Swamp Rat would be a nice knife, or maybe a HI khukuri! :D

I think a smaller lighter knife would be far better (Even for kukri I think HI are too heavy)

Fallkniven F1 with micarta handle would be a good choice

I also like Allen blade pack pal knives

My Bug Out kit knives are a Fallkniven F1 in kydex, and a D2 BM Grip. The Ritter Grip would do nicely also.

Two affordable, tough knives made of premium materials, of appropriate size and configuration for 99% of anything you might need a knife for.

Fixed: chris reeve green beret 5'5 or 7", benchmade 140,also check out doziers military models.
Folders: Buck strider, spyderco manix/military/paramilitary, benchmade 860

.I have a BOB that travels everywhere with me. It is a Wenger backpack style laptop bag. It looks like a backpack but is setup inside for a laptop and other buisiness things. It works well for me. As far as knives go. It always has a Leatherman Supertool in it. It also has a Victorianox Rucksack model in it. I always have a good EDC folder or two on my person, so that is always covered. I carry a large fixed blade in the laptop portion. The fixed blade changes depending on what I am doing and where I am going. Usually a HI khuk or a Busse BM are in there. My BOB changes out components with the season as the needs change with the seasons. I also tend to have a truck bag that covers other contingincies, and stays in the truck.
As an aside the truck bag is one of those Home Depot large contractor tool bags. It is perfect truck carry and draws no attention to itself.
