Eddie Baca (and Wife) are always so nice to me when I bump into him on various forums. He's offered to help me out being a newbie at collecting custom knives on a budget by offering to make me a custom knife on my budget. I couldn't take him up on that offer but he was super-nice about it and sent me some info anyway.

Recently, I was working on rehandling an Emerson and gave up with the job half-finished and I made a post about it. He wrote me and I sent him my materials and knife and he rehandled my Emerson for me in exchange for a few raw materials I had.

He did a GREAT job! The G-10 is even beefier than the factory Emerson handles and he even cut a matching recess on the right side so I could access the right side of the disk more easily. He even polished the edges of the liners. This is a pretty slick Emerson I have now.

He's a nice guy and he CERTAINLY doesn't do half-assed work. I love what he did for me. Thanks!

I met and hung with Eddie Baca and brother at Blade last year and they are great people ! Very cool, laid back and his knives are extremely well made as well they are affordable ! I recommend a Baca knife anytime !.....RDT
