Thank you, Rick, Paul and Gev. The Green Mountain is one of only 9 made in 2008, and I don't think they used it on any other pattern.

The #53 GEC stockman (really a cattle pattern) is one of my favorites, and makes for a great collecting piece because of the many handle variations to display on a nice large cover. Here are some of my best ones.

Jeff, everything you posted is so nice they all deserve to be shown again and again but, I selected these because they actually put a smile on my face viewing them. Thanks.

I don't have very many equal ends, but the ones I have mean a lot to me:

You're so right r8shell. It's the people behind our collections that make them extra special.
The girl scout knife is amazing.

Here is a EE 2 blade single spring Schrade Cut Co I got a couple of years ago. Never sharpened and never used. Also a Shapleigh Hardware DE EE. Lloyd

Great thread! I'm a big fan of the equal end and have a real fondness for single springs. Here's my current lineup of TK Cubans.

Here are a few of mine. A case, a queen, and an unknown maker. Apologies for the poor quality photo.

Nice bunch of Jacks and Whittlers Al, especially the White Owl and Forest Jack. Beautiful!

Here's a couple more I like.
Winchester Moose and Northwoods Indian River Jack.

That Winchester is what my mind's eye pictures when someone says traditional knife.

Top quality in this thread, thanks to all contributors.

Jeff That Ram's Horn 53 always floors me, really impressive handle slabs, I'd very much like to see GEC start using it again on other frames too. It's not uncommon material here in Europe so I think they could access some quality stock if they looked into it.

I like the Equal End due to its symmetry and when it's single-spring, you don't get too much weight in the 'bin' but plenty of blade length. I like GEC's 68 White Owl in particular although for some reason I feel that EE works best in Clip- this coming from a Spear fan too!

Rust Red taking a dive....use this knife a lot around the garden, ideal size.

Thanks, Will

Will, I'm kinda partial to White Owls too. They remind me of pen knife my Grandfather carried, not to big, not to small.
Good enough for Grandpa and just right for my real life cutting needs.

White Owls - Cocobolo and Buffalo Horn

I love the look of equal-end patterns but it seems like most of the modern ones are a bit bigger than I'd prefer. So far I've managed to snag a couple of smaller ones and I love them! They've got such a classy feel to them.
